Understanding Character Archetypes in 2XKO
Before diving into specific champions, let’s briefly go over the basic character archetypes in 2XKO. This will help you better understand each character’s fighting style:
- All-Rounder: Balanced characters who are good at everything, with straightforward toolkits perfect for learning the game’s fundamental mechanics.
- Rushdown: Agile fighters who excel at closing the distance and applying immense pressure up close.
- Bruiser: Tanky characters with high health and damage, but they often lack mobility.
- Zoner: Specialists in controlling space and attacking from a distance with long-range projectiles and attacks.
- Grappler: Masters of powerful command grabs and throws at close range.
- Mix-Up: Unpredictable characters with a wide variety of offensive options that keep opponents guessing.
For a newcomer, starting with All-Rounder or Bruiser characters is often the safest and most effective choice.
