Fast movement on the ground and in the air: Ekko has numerous options to play neutral or run his offense, especially with a partner. Mixup and reset potential: Ekko’s toolkit has many built-in left/right cross-up opportunities. With resources and/or a partner, he can initiate high/low mixups to open up his opponents. Creativity and room for player expression: A well-balanced toolkit creates many opportunities to create and adapt combos and offense on the fly. Great team support: Ekko’s assists are valuable to any team, offering both an advancing assist and a long-range projectile assist. Great synergy with Freestyle Fuse & 2X Assist: Ekko’s assists and open-ended offense lend themselves very well to these two Fuses. His Chronostrike assist can lock down the opponent in a 2X Assist, and his tools allow him to create uncontestable offensive strings with his partner. | Lower than average health: With 950 health, Ekko is vulnerable to Touch-of-Death combos (TODs) that other characters might survive, meaning he can be knocked out in fewer interactions than much of the roster. Lower damage than other characters: Ekko’s offense often consists of looping guessing situations that start from light attacks, which reduces his overall damage. He relies on meter to significantly boost his damage output. Characters focused on neutral: Ekko lives or dies by his neutral game. He doesn’t have many unique tools in the midrange besides his strong movement and ability to punish an opponent’s whiffs. |
