Zoning and trap-oriented playstyles: Teemo has lots of keepaway tools, from his mushrooms (), a slingshot (), and a placeable bush ( + ) which can be used again to teleport to it.

Creative neutral tools and combo routing: Teemo has lots of unique tools to control space in neutral and start offense with his partner. His unique dart normals let him apply stagger pressure from further range than other characters, and his parachute ( in the air) let him air stall. His slingshot, mushrooms, and bushes all are empowered when he gets his badges or uses + on them.

Powering up specials mid-match: Teemo’s specials and dart normals only get stronger the more he hits his opponent with them, and their progress stays in between rounds.

Lower-than-average damage & health: Teemo’s multi-hit moves result in hitting minimum damage scaling quickly and he can struggle to break past 450 meterless damage without badges, even when optimized. On top of this, Teemo also holds the lowest amount of health among the entire roster, making him very easy to KO compared to other Champions.

Stubby and slow normals: Teemo’s short range normals, like + , mean that he can struggle with getting out of some pressure sequences without his partner or meter.

Gated special moves: Teemo doesn’t have access to all his upgraded zoning tools immediately from the start of a match, requiring thinking ahead and mid-route adaptations for the correct situation.
