A Beginner’s Guide to 2XKO

Welcome to the world of 2XKO! This 2v2 tag team fighting game challenges you to defeat your opponent’s duo using a variety of moves and combos. While it’s easy to jump in and start pressing buttons, mastering each champion’s abilities and knowing the right time to use them is key to climbing the ranks.

Your first experience in 2XKO will be a tutorial match designed to introduce you to the game’s fundamental controls and mechanics.

Getting a Grip on the Controls

To begin, it’s important to familiarize yourself with the game’s controls. 2XKO supports a range of input devices, including standard gamepads, arcade controllers, fight sticks, and computer keyboards. It’s a good idea to experiment with different options to find what suits you best.

While the default control schemes are generally well-suited for most players, you can customize your controls at any time through the game’s settings menu. Here, you can select different presets, test your button mapping, and rebind any controls you’re not comfortable with.

To effectively communicate move combinations, the game and its community use input glyphs (e.g., + + ) and numpad notation (e.g., 6S1). Glyphs provide a more visual representation, while numpad notation is often used by experienced players for its efficiency in text.

Navigating the Main Menu

After your initial match, you’ll be brought to the main menu. A navigation bar at the top allows you to access various sections, including your progression and missions, the champion roster, your collection of cosmetics, your profile and match history, tutorials, and the game settings.

Jumping into a Match

The “Play” button, located in the top left corner, is your gateway to starting a game. You’ll have the option to choose between casual matches, private matches, versus matches, or a custom training mode. Before you can play in the casual queue, you’ll need to complete three placement matches against computer-controlled opponents.

Champion and Fuse Selection

Once a match is found, you’ll enter the champion select screen.
